Kathleen A. Jenkins CPA

Kathleen joined the firm in 1981 after graduating from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in accounting. She became certified in 1983 and joined the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. She was honored to be made principal of the firm in 1987. During this time, she earned a Master of Science in Taxation and a Master of Science in Finance from Walsh College. In addition to the taxation of corporations, partnerships, trusts and individuals, her background has enabled her to specialize in audits of governmental and nonprofit entities as well as compilations and reviews of corporations.

Throughout her career, Kathleen has felt it important to give back to the community through volunteer efforts on behalf of charitable community and civic organizations. Currently, she serves as President, Detroit Area Development Council, Michigan State University; Member of External Advisory Board to the Department of Accounting and Information Systems, Eli Broad College of Business, Michigan State University; Treasurer and Board Member, Birmingham Bloomfield Community Coalition.

Past service includes participation on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Survival Center, United Way of Oakland County, Creative Arts Center, Rotary Club of Pontiac, Rotary Club of Pontiac Charities Foundation and the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce.
