Kathleen A. Jenkins CPA

Kathleen joined the firm in 1981 after graduating from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in accounting. She became certified in 1983 and joined the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She was honored to be made principal of the firm in 1987. During this time, she earned a Master of Science in Taxation and a Master of Science in Finance from Walsh College.

In addition to the taxation of corporations, partnerships, trusts nonprofits and individuals, her background has enabled her to specialize in audits, reviews, compilations and preparation of governmental and nonprofit entities as well as corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies and individuals.

Throughout her career, Kathleen has felt it important to give back to the community through volunteer efforts on behalf of charitable, community and civic organizations. Currently, she serves as Treasurer of the Birmingham Bloomfield Community Coalition; Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Pontiac and the Rotary Club of Pontiac Charities Foundation.

Past service includes participation on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Survival Center, United Way of Oakland County, Creative Arts Center, Rotary Club of Pontiac, Rotary Club of Pontiac Charities Foundation, Detroit Area Development Council of Michigan State University, Walsh College Foundation, and member of the External Advisory Board to the Department of Accounting and Information Systems, Eli Broad College of Business, Michigan State University.
